Recording Searches

Whitman County is happy to announce that we now have a hosted website for your convenience that can be used for searching some of Whitman County’s recorded documents.

                            How to search on Whitman County’s Public Web Site 

Please go to:
Public Login allows you to see a summary of searched documents by name, parcel number or Auditor File Number.
            To purchase or view full document(s), you must register as a new user.
If you need historical records to be searched (before 1983) our office will be happy to provide the search. To do so the following is required:

  1. 5-year time frame of when the document was recorded
  2. Grantor or Grantee name
  3. Abbreviated legal description of the property (if known)

The charge for the search is:


  • $8/hour for staff search time 
  • $1 per printed page

We have designed this website with the help of our vendor, Tyler Technologies. The site was designed for ease of use, but there is contact information on the website should you need assistance or have questions.
