                              How to search on Whitman County’s Public Web Site

Public Login allows you to see a summary of searched documents by name, parcel number, or Auditor File Number.

            To purchase or view the full document(s), you must register as a new user.


Historical documents (filed before 1982) are not yet available online, but are accessible in the following ways:

 

  1. Digital format for inspection in the Auditor’s office
  2. Physical inspection in the Washington State Archives – Cheney office
  3. Recording deputy paid search

 

If you would like historical records to be searched by a recording deputy, our office will be happy to provide a search. To do so the following is required:

 

  •  5-year time frame of when the document was recorded
  •  Grantor or Grantee name
  •  Abbreviated legal description of the property 

 The charge for the search is:

 

  • $8/hour for staff search time 
  • $1 per printed page
